How we compare

One of the ways we measure how well we’re doing is to compare ourselves with similar landlords across England. These other landlords are ‘Arms Length Management Organisations’ (ALMOs) like ourselves and face similar challenges to Northwards.

Take a look at the ALMOs we compare ourselves to

Please note: we were unable to compare our repairs service during this time period as we were unable to collect data while our repairs contractor went through a lengthy period of industrial action. We will, of course, produce this data in future.

There were a lot of challenges in the 2017-18 period, most significantly the aforementioned industrial action. Some things improved despite these challenges; other areas underperformed. We’re pleased that we still compared favourably against our peers in a lot of areas and have focused on making changes to those parts of the business where improvements needed to be made. Many of these improvements can be seen in our 2018-19 statistics, which we look forward to sharing soon.
