Three ways you can help and support people in your local community right now

July 13 2020 | Articles | News

1. Give a little to our fundraiser

We've so far raised £2,125 of our £2,500 target to help keep the food banks of our local charities well stocked. We're almost there! If you can chip in, please donate here:

2. Help to shop for vulnerable people

Would you like to go shopping for residents that are shielding or self-isolating? The council are looking for volunteers specifically in Higher Blackley, Harpurhey and Charlestown.

3. Making masks

Good at sewing? Buzz Manchester are asking for people to help make face coverings for local people. You can drop them off in a box at the reception of No. 93, 93 Church Lane, Harpurhey, Tuesdays and Thursdays 10am - 3pm. If you would like a "how to" guide on making a mask, email lauren.evans@gmmh.nhs.uk.
