Additional Vacancy Information

We have an exciting opportunity for a new Neighbourhood Housing Officer (NHO) role at Northwards. As an NHO, you will have the ability to help the community grow, become a better place to live and benefit from the satisfaction of making a difference.

This exciting role gives you the opportunity to really make an impact; tackling anti-social behaviour head on, supporting people to manage their tenancies and improving the look of our estates. You will achieve this by building solid relationships in the community, working closely with our tenants and their families.

As a natural problem solver, you will be a main contact for Northwards’ customers, signposting and giving general advice. You will be a strong team player as well as confident and productive when working alone.  You must have an enquiring mind and want to make a difference.

Applicants will work closely with colleagues internally, such as the Community Safety Team, Design & Delivery Team, Caretaking Team and Resident Liaison Officers and externally with partners such as Greater Manchester Police, the City Council and various support agencies.  You will need to be an excellent communicator, approachable, friendly, knowledgable and when required, assertive.

You must have a full driving licence as access to a car is required on a daily basis.
