We provide information in different formats to make sure customers who have reduced or no vision, or have reduced or no hearing, can access our services quickly and easily.
We can provide documents such as rent statements of information leaflets in large print, braille or on audio tape.
We also provide free pocket magnifiers to help with reading - call us on 0161 720 5871 or email news@northwardshousing.co.uk to request one.
We have textphones, type-talk phone aids and communication cards. We provide a fax service and signers.
We can translate documents into languages other than English, or provide interpreters. We have a language prompt system at public offices.
We use plain language in our publications, with pictures and symbols to help deaf people and those who speak other languages. We're happy to fill in forms and read out written information - we treat those requests sensitively.
There may be a wait for some of these services - such as translations or documents on tape - but we'll always let you know how long.
