Tenancy reference number & postcode

There are two types of tenancy reference number - it depends on when you started your tenancy, or if you have had a new rent card recently. Both types will work. Look on the bottom right hand corner of your rent card.

The two types are:

  • 13 numbers like this: 0123456789012
  • a combination of letters and numbers like this: ABCD1234/56. When you use this version please include the forward-slash (/).

If you can't find it, phone us on 03000 123 123. We'll tell you the reference number; as long as you can give us some information to confirm your identity. If you can't give us information like this, we'll send you a new rent card through the post. We do this to make sure we don't give your personal details to a stranger.

Postcode

If you don't know your postcode, look on any official mail that's come to your home. Or phone us on 03000 123 123. Or use the Royal Mail website, and follow links to 'Find a postcode'. You have to register, but it's a free service.
