Hindus believe in an eternal, spiritual truth created by Brahman, from whom all existence comes.

Hindus recognise three principal Gods:
  • Brahma who created the universe
  • Vishnu who preserves the universe
  • Shiva who destroys the universe

Hindus worship in a temple and at home. The Vedas are the most ancient religious Hindu text.

Hindus believe that existence is a cycle of birth, death and rebirth governed by Karma. Karma teaches people to accept responsibility for their actions and learn from their mistakes.
