Buddhism

Buddhism is about meditation as well as speaking and thinking both kindly and wisely

Buddhism was founded around 2,500 years ago by Siddhartha Gautama, an Indian prince.

Buddhism teaches that true contentment lies in a deep acceptance of change as a fact of life. Change will happen anyway, but by cultivating compassion and wisdom, Buddhists believe that they can affect the way they change and help change the world around them for the better.

Buddhist life generally includes meditation and doing one's best to act, speak and think kindly and wisely. Buddhists believe that living this way leads to the perfect wisdom and compassion of Enlightenment - the end of suffering.

Buddhism does not include the worship of a creator God.

Buddhists can worship at home or at a temple.
