If you can't find anything on Homefinder, or you have been registered for rehousing for a long time, look at ways to increase your chances.

Here are some other housing options you may not have considered.

Choose more areas

Have you restricted your rehousing application to just a few areas? If these are very popular you may not have a chance of a home for some time. The more areas you put on your application, the better your chances.

Find out about other areas - see our area guides. To add more areas, change your application details

Swap your home

You could find a new home quickly by exchanging with another Northwards tenant, or with the tenant of another 'not-for-profit' landlord - in Manchester or in other parts of the country.

Consider high-rise living

Our apartments have one or two bedrooms, with a living room, bathroom, separate toilet and kitchen. Some are reserved for people of a certain age to reduce lifestyle conflicts. You may be able to get something quite quickly.
