


New Moston is about five miles from the city centre in the north east corner of Manchester. It is based around Hollinwood Avenue and its junctions with Lighbowne Road and Broadway - major routes from the north to the city centre. The M60 motorway around Manchester is not too far away, giving easy access to other parts of the city and the north west.
There is a large Morrisons supermarket on Hollinwood Avenue,and local shops and services like health centres, post offices, banks and building societies within easy reach on Moston Lane East, Hollinwood Avenue, Lightbowne Road and Moston Lane. There's good public transport, with frequent buses along Lightbowne Road and Broadway to the city centre and Oldham, and along Victoria Avenue to Middleton. There are regular trains to the city and Rochdale from Moston station.
