Harpurhey Central lies on both sides of Rochdale Road, between Carisbrook Street and Moston Lane - just over two miles north of the city centre. All homes are within half a mile of Rochdale Road - a major route from Manchester to the north and the M60 motorway.

Living in Harpurhey Central

All homes in this area are within walking distance of the North City Centre complex. As well as a variety of smaller shops and indoor market, there's a large Asda store and a unique covered outdoor market. There's a post office and medical centre too. It has a leisure and fitness centre, with a modern swimming pool, fitness suite and dance studio. A new police station is helping build a safe and secure atmosphere.

There are frequent buses run along Rochdale Road from Manchester to Middleton and Rochdale. The vibrant city centre, with its shops, entertainment and leisure facilities is just a few minutes journey. The estates on the east side of Rochdale Road benefit from their own local bus routes too.

Most homes are less than a mile from the new Central Manchester Business park - an exciting venture that's boosting the local economy and offering new jobs and training opportunities.

Boggart Hole Clough is less than a mile up Rochdale Road - it's one of Manchester's largest parks, with bowls, fishing, boating, football pitches, playground, running track, multicourts and woodland walks.
