Lots of lucky tenants picked up top prizes in the first of our regular 'Northwards Xtra' draws.

It's a unique reward scheme for people who have been tenants for at least 12 months, pay their rent on time, and keep to the rules in their tenancy agreement.

If you fit the bill you're automatically entered into the four-times-a-year prize draws, and the chance to win up to £1000.

Thankyou

The first winners were announced at a special party on Monday 3 November where we said thankyou for being great tenants.

Mr Eventhal of Blackley picked up the top £1,000 prize. He and his wife, both full-time carers, are treating themselves to a well-earned holiday. "We've been working really hard this year", he smiled. "Now we can look forward to a great Christmas and a relaxing holiday."

Xtra special Christmas

Patricia Fraser of Harpurhey won a Whirlpool washing machine. "This couldn't have come at a better time, my machine has been on the blink for a few weeks now!" she said. Louise Robinson and Kurtis Short won £500. They'll redecorate their living room with the money.

Congratulations to them, and all the other winners. The next draw is in December 2008 - just in time for an Xtra special Christmas! Make sure you meet the conditions and have your chance to win.
