Tea-time chats

Cup of tea in a Northwards mug A chat and a brew will help us
help you

North Manchester neighbours recently got some great free talk-time with ‘Tea Mobile’, our living room on wheels.

Where you’re in the driving seat

Your voices are the most important when it comes to making your neighbourhood a better place to live. And what better way to get ideas brewing than a chat over a cup of tea and a biscuit? It’s why we ran Tea Mobile, our mobile meeting room. Of course, Tea Mobile isn’t just any room. It’s a comfy, welcoming place for you to share your thoughts, refresh yourself, and put your ideas in the driving seat.

Perfect parking

This year, the Tea Mobile parked up on Enstone Drive and Pleasington Drive. Everyone who got on board had the chance to ask about local developments and the kind of things we could help them with. With one of our goodie bags for everyone, it proved the perfect way to talk freely with friendly faces from the local area, about the area.

Putting the ‘oo’ in ‘helping you’

Julie Wilson, Head of Neighbourhood Services for the area said, "After the success of the Tea Mobile last year, we thought it would be great to get it back out on the road again to hear more from local residents. We’re really keen to get views from people in the area, and we’re glad that so many residents came out to speak with us and enjoy a brew."
