We're making changes at the Southchurch Parade Housing Office in Collyhurst.

When the management of homes in Collyhurst transferred from the Council to Northwards, it was agreed that there would be no reason to continue providing tenancy and estate management services from the Southchurch Parade office.

This is because Northwards has other offices nearby - at Cheetham Hill Road and on the corner of Monsall Street and Queens Road - so it makes no sense to keep open a small office which costs more to run, but which doesn't add to Northwards' ability to provide services to tenants.

For this reason, day to day tenancy and estate management services will be moving from the Southchurch Parade office to the Cheetham Hill Road and Monsall Street offices from 2nd July 2012.

The Neighbourhood Housing Officer (NHO) responsible for homes in the Cheetham Ward (i.e. to the west of Rochdale Road) will be located at the Cheetham Hill Road Office and be part of the Local Services Team there.

The NHO responsible for homes in the Harpurhey and Miles Platting & Newton Heath Wards (i.e. everything to the east of Rochdale Road) will be based at the Monsall Street Office and be part of the Local Services Team there.

From 2nd July 2012, the Southchurch Parade office will be used by Manchester Working Limited as a base for delivering home improvement works to Collyhurst homes through to March 2015.

Making this change means that Northwards' existing teams will be able to completely run the day to day management of Collyhurst, meaning lower running costs and a better service.
