There was a spring in Patricia Bostock’s step in April when she grabbed a grand at Northwards Xtra.

Northwards Xtra is our quarterly prize draw. Everyone who pays their rent on time and sticks to the rules of their tenancy is automatically entered.

As well as generous cash prizes there are fantastic gifts to be won, from family days out, fancy mobile phones to the latest cutting edge computer games, there’s something for everyone!

Our winners are invited to a special prize giving event at Hexagon Tower to collect their goodies and enjoy a bit of a celebration. The prizes were given out by Chair of the Northwards Board Sue Ratchford and our new Director of Business Services, Stephen Brown who really enjoyed handing out the big cheques!

Patricia told us all about her plans to spend the £1,000: “I’d like a new suite for the living room and a new cooker.”

Other winners included Northwards Natter fan Barbara Lunn who won a 19" LCD TV, Barbara filled in the crossword in our Spring edition of the Northwards Natter and was one of the lucky winners: "I’m always entering competitions,” she said, “and the Northwards Natter is a good read so I decided to give the crossword a go.”

Joan Heppenstall was the lucky winner of a state of the art Playstation 3. Joan was over the moon with her prize and is looking forward to showing her grandson some new tricks once she gets the hang of it!
