Recycling proficiency: the event showed how we could all do our bit to cut waste
A special event revealed what Manchester people think about recycling - and we were there to put the Northwards angle.
'Lifting the Lid on Recycling' was held at the city's town hall on Monday 19 May. It followed the council's campaign to get green tips from local people, based on questions like: "what would help you recycle more?" and "what materials could we recycle in the future?"
The event showed information collected over the last few months; there were stalls, displays and demonstrations too. Experts were on hand to answer questions and help with recycling tips.
The results of the consultation will be used to decide how Manchester will meet the recycling needs of our local communities in the future.
We're proud to be associated with the event - our stall showed how Northwards supports recycling.
