A veteran Man City fan was anything but blue when the club’s legendary winger Mike Summerbee dropped by to wish her a happy 100th birthday!

Alice McCabe, who lives at our Harry Piggott Court retirement scheme in Higher Blackley, celebrated in fine style on 28 January with a card, kiss and a cuddle from the City superstar.

Not only that, but Mike brought Alice a specially designed City shirt with ‘100’ written on the back!

Alice was delighted with the pressie, and things got a bit steamy when Mike suggested she wear it to bed as it’s nice and comfy.

“But no one will see me in it when I get to bed, will they?” said Alice.

“Well, if you give me a ring, I’ll nip round!” replied the saucy soccer star.

Mike added: “She’s a big City fan, and a good kisser! She’s a very nice lady and it’s a real privilege for me to come up and see her.”
