A specialist team of helpers have made life a lot easier for many residents at Victoria Square this Summer.
The Manchester Equipment & Adaptations Partnership (MEAP) help older and disabled people to become more independent in their homes by providing special services.
And last month, the partnership popped into the Square to show the residents just how much they can benefit from their work.
MEAP demonstrated and handed out some of the wide range of equipment they provide; everything from walking sticks and frames to jar grippers to help you loosen those pesky jam jar lids!
The team also told residents about the special adaptations they can carry out to your home, such as stairlifts, showers and grab rails.
After speaking to several of the residents, they even carried out some adaptations that very day!
So why not ask for an assessment yourself to see what MEAP can do for you? Just call 0161 255 8250. Lines are open 10-3pm each day, and the service is available across the city.
