Dog show treat

Dog

Get your dog microchipped for free as part of a special event at Heaton Park on Saturday 19 September.

What’s it all about?

The Responsible Dog Owners event, organised by Manchester Dogs’ Home, City Dog Services and City Leisure, aims to encourage and increase responsible dog ownership and community relations within Manchester. A major part of the day will be the fun dog show.

Exclusive Northwards treat

As an exclusive treat for Northwards tenants, you’ll be able to get your dog microchipped for free. This is a great way to make sure you protect your pet from getting lost. All you need to do is bring along proof of your tenancy (e.g. a rent card, rent agreement).

Plenty more on offer

There will also be free pet health checks, craft stalls, cakes and refreshments, donkey rides, face painting and fun fair rides.

When and where

The event takes place near the band stand and runs from 11am to 4pm. Pre-registration for the dog show will be at 11am.
