For the hottest party in the North West, it’s got to be Northfest!

Northfest

Roll up, roll up for Northfest – our free annual celebration for residents across north Manchester.

With classic carnival games and more music and dance talent than you can shake Simon Cowell at, Northfest is not to be missed!

Acts so far lined up to perform include local street dance groups Zion and Jodi’s Pure Dance, while Crumpsall band Consensio will be bashing out hits from across the genres; from rock to swing and even songs from the musicals.

The New Testament Youth Gospel Choir will also be appearing, raising their glorious voices to the heavens, while Vietnamese martial artists V-Trix will be earning themselves a black belt in entertainment with their fast and furious demonstrations.

There’s more acts yet to be confirmed, but alongside the action on stage there’ll also be circus skills learning sessions and drumming workshops, as well as classic games such as a coconut shy, bash the rat, hoopla, a tin can alley, hook-a-duck, and loads more.

The festival is free to attend and takes place Saturday 11 September, 1-5pm at Bignor Street Recreation Ground, just next to Heywood Street in Cheetham Hill.
