Our wardens have been heading back to high school to teach pupils about the consequences of antisocial behaviour (ASB).
Alongside our partner agencies, including Manchester City Council’s Antisocial Behaviour Action Team, Northwards Wardens deliver classroom based presentations to show just how destructive ASB can be.
Covering everything from littering, graffiti, street drinking and vandalism to gangs, violence and the nuisance of off-road bikes, our Wardens hope to highlight and reduce such problematic behaviour; spelling out the consequences for both the victims and the offenders.
This initiative fits in with the schools’ National Curriculum as part of the PSHE teaching strategy and also helps formulate links between Northwards and the seven senior high schools in the Northwards area
