Domestic abuse

Talk to us

If you are experiencing domestic abuse you can talk to us about your options. We take all reports of domestic abuse seriously, and will work positively with you to find a solution.

Please contact us. We will meet you immediately if you contact us during working hours, or first thing the next working day if it's outside working hours. We'll make you feel safe and supported when you get in touch.

We offer a private, confidential interview room, the choice of talking to a man or woman, and translation into another language if necessary.

We will not judge you or put pressure on you to do something you don't want to do. We will listen, and let you decide what action you want to take at your own pace. See how we can help: the choices.

If there are children involved we will consider their needs seriously too.

Confidentiality

We offer a confidential service. We will only give information to other agencies if we believe there are concerns about child protection, vulnerable adults or to prevent a crime. We will not share information with members of the public, family-members or friends.
