(Northwards does a lot for charity from decorating and gardening to fundraising events and collecting donations)
Do you know of a charity or community project that needs our support?
Here at Northwards, we’d like to nominate a local charity or community project as our Charity of the Year – it’s in line with our vision and values and shows how we support north Manchester to be successful!
At the moment, we’re supporting the mental health charity Manchester Mind and we’ve raised £1,185.75 so far through fundraising events, staff contributions and dress down days.
We’re also able to raise their profile through publicity, offer volunteering opportunities and support clothing collections.
From April, we would love to work with another charity to do the same.
Here’s how you can get involved
So if you know any local charities or community projects within the Northwards area that you would like us to support, please send your nominations to firstname.lastname@example.org by no later than Wednesday 15th February.
All you need to do is provide a brief description of the charity/project, why they should be Northwards Charity of the Year and what difference it would make to them!
Once all the nominations have been received and we’ve checked to make sure they are suitable, a shortlist will be put to the vote by Northwards staff!
So get your thinking caps on and make those nominations - this is great opportunity to really make a difference to a local charity/project within our community!
We will announce the winner in March and start supporting them from April 1.
