As the nights draw in and temperatures drop, we want to make sure that your boiler's working and you're not paying too much for heating.
If you haven't yet, please give your boiler a try to make sure it's working properly. If things aren’t running smoothly, please order a repair.
It’s a good idea to regularly check that your radiators and their valves are working properly and there are no leaks. Even minor leaks (sometimes ones you don’t even notice) can lead to a loss of pressure in your system and cause your boiler to break down, often at the coldest time.
So, if you've got any problems, just get in touch and remember: check the ID of any workmen who visit your home!

Our energy advisor, Naila, has helped more than 1,000 residents save a total of £160,000 on their energy bills over the past four years. Among them is Tom Morgan (pictured with Naila) from Newton Heath, who's saved hundreds of pounds.
Tom asked for help after a move from a communal boiler to an individual one. Naila helped him switch energy suppliers, saving more than £100 a year, and then asked for an estimated bill to be replaced with an accurate one, which was £150 less. Tom also found out he might be eligible for a £140 grant. (You might be able to get £140 off your electricity bill with a Warm Home Discount too - just contact your electricity supplier before 31st December.)
