We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and customer-focussed person to join our Mechanical and Electrical team at Hendham Vale.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has two years' hands-on experience and is looking to become a Surveyor and work within an office environment. You will be qualified to NVQ level 3 City & Guilds Certification in either Plumbing, Plumbing & Heating or Gas and Accredited Certification Scheme (ACS) in Core Gas, Cookers, Fires, Boilers, Meters and Pipework.

We will support you over the next two years to gain your HNC and, when qualified, you will progress in to the role of Mechanical Surveyor.

The main purpose of the role will be to assist in the delivery of the Mechanical Planned Maintenance & Servicing programme and to assist in the provision of support to the Repairs Service.

Training will be given to enable you to organise and prioritise work to meet deadlines and targets and deliver accurate information as you will be preparing and interpreting specifications and preparing schedules of work utilising a prepaid schedule of rates. You will keep up to date with current legislation and statutory requirements, ensuring these are adhered to at all times.

Ideally, you will have a full driving licence, use of a car for business and a willingness to work within any area of Northwards.
