Within the Rents Team, our aim is to deliver a high quality rent collection and recovery service, rooted in maximising income and promoting and providing effective welfare rights and money advice.

We have an opportunity within the Rents Team as a Caseworker to deliver a professional and responsive rent service, actively engaging and supporting customers to enable them to sustain their tenancy.

It’s a busy and exciting time for the rents team as we are in the process of embedding a new IT system, keeping up to date with changes to the benefits system and preparing for the forthcoming impact of the Universal Credit roll out in north Manchester.

We are looking for people who would like career development, or a new experience, and will relish this challenge. This role requires a person who is customer focused, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

You’ll be just as comfortable working in a friendly, busy team as you are on your own initiative, as well as having the ability to identify problems and offer recommendations for effective solutions. Knowledge and experience of Rents is beneficial.
